This role offers the opportunity to take a senior leadership position within our Data Centre team, overseeing the design management of major projects while contributing to team development, client relationships, and wider business growth.

Alongside project leadership, you will play a key role in shaping delivery approaches, supporting the development of Design Management capability, and strengthening our position with key clients.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the design management of major data centre projects or programmes
• Providing oversight and direction to Design Managers and wider project teams
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
• Supporting bids, proposals, and project set-up
• Driving consistency in design management processes and standards across projects
• Contributing to team development, mentoring, and capability building
• Supporting commercial performance, including risk management and project delivery outcomes

You are a senior professional with a strong track record of delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects and building trusted client relationships. You are comfortable leading teams, influencing delivery strategy, and contributing to business growth.

Key attributes:

• Degree in Engineering, or a related discipline
• Significant experience in Design Management on large-scale projects (data centre experience preferred)
• Minimum Experience of 15 years in Design Management filed of Data Centre Industry.
• Proven leadership of project teams and ability to develop others
• Strong client-facing experience and ability to build long-term relationships
• Good commercial awareness and experience managing risk on projects
• Ability to influence delivery strategy and improve ways of working
• Clear communicator with the confidence to operate at senior levels internally and externally
