Our people are considered experts and thought leaders in the industry; collectively we’re driving meaningful change. To help us achieve our ongoing global ambitions, we require an organised, collaborative, and energetic Accountant to join our growing APAC Finance Team. 

As part of the development of its APAC business, and overall global growth, Cundall are excited to announce that we are entering into the Malaysian market in Kuala Lumpur. Cundall have been working on various projects in Malaysia from our offices in Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia so this is the natural progression for the business, building on long standing relationships and offering the same high standard of multidisciplinary design and consultancy services. 

 
Our Malaysia office will enhance our regional presence in Asia, taking on exciting projects locally while also collaborating closely with our regional offices to provide seamless support.

The Role

Working as part of the Regional Finance Team and reporting to the APAC Head of Finance, this role will be based in either our Kuala Lumpur office to support finance related activities, primarily within regional locations including end of month reporting, general ledger maintenance, payroll and accounts receivable. 

Main responsibilities: 

  • Preparation of end of month financial reporting pack. 
  • End of month journals and reconciliations. 
  • Responsible for general ledger maintenance. 
  • Accounts receivable including preparation of client progress claims. 
  • Monthly payroll processing and reconciliation. 
  • Assistance with end of year financial audits. 

The Skills

Holding an Accounting certification or degree with a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role preparing end of month financials. 

Possess good knowledge of MFRS, SST and ERP system. 

You will be highly numerate, have proven time management skills, and excellent customer service standards, dealing professionally, confidently and effectively with internal staff and external contacts and advisers across international borders.
