This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ELV Consultant with the ability to engage and interact with stakeholders at different levels, joining our team to play a leading role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative design solutions, whilst providing technical and team leadership.
They will work very closely with and report to the discipline lead of the ELV division. This role is sought out with the intention of having a strong team player interface between the discipline lead and the Engineers. They will also be responsibility for day-to-day guidance and mentoring of the Engineers and the BIM team.
The role will include managing engineers to deliver designs, technical reviews, stakeholder engagement, and monitoring fee and programme for projects. You will be involved in QA processes, establishing deliverables, mentoring and work winning activities. Using your expertise and determination you can manage, motivate, and inspire less experienced engineers.
As a senior member of the team, they will adopt a proactive, hands-on approach to project delivery, stepping in to support key deliverables where required to maintain momentum and ensure successful outcomes.
You will collaborate within the wider Cundall team and external partners, working closely with colleagues of various disciplines to help manage the delivery of technically excellent and successful projects.
You will also support, and be supported by, senior management staff within the team, embracing the collaborative and supportive behaviours Cundall exhibit.
Working towards, or already be, a Chartered Engineer as well as hold licence for design of telecommunication installations and systems, educated to degree level in Electrical or Telecommunication Engineering, you will ideally have gained significant experience in an ELV consultancy and / or engineering role within the ELV design field.
You have proven ability in producing schematic diagrams, preparing specifications and project reports, carrying out site inspections and surveys, detail design development as well as lead project meetings.
Knowledge of Wired Score or other technical benchmarking for buildings is a positive, bringing your own opinions on how we can support clients through technical journeys. Through this experience, you can support your project teams to design and develop detailed and accurate designs.
