We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Architect with strong Revit capability to support the delivery of a large-scale hospitality project in Riyadh.
The role combines design leadership and architectural governance with a strong site based technical assurance remit, supporting quality, compliance and delivery during later design stages and construction.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience delivering hospitality sector projects (hotels, resorts or mixed-use hospitality developments) in the Gulf region and be comfortable operating in a technical review, verification and quality assurance role, working alongside the PMC and contractor.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a site-based role and the successful candidate will supervise architectural works including blockwork, façade systems, waterproofing, interior fit-out, finishes, joinery, and external finishes.
• Review architectural shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, samples, and method statements.
• Ensure workmanship quality aligns with project specifications and architectural design intent.
• Inspect installation of doors, windows, cladding, ceilings, flooring, and joinery.
• Identify defects and issue NCRs/SORs with clear rectification requirements.
• Coordinate closely with structural and MEP teams to resolve on-site conflicts.
• Monitor progress against schedule and follow up on construction sequencing issues.
• Participate in snagging, de-snagging, and handover documentation preparation.
• Ensure HSE compliance for architectural works.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• Strong architectural background with experience in architecture and interior design for hospitality projects.
• Proven experience delivering projects through detailed design, construction and site supervision phases in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC.
• Demonstrable experience in:
o Architectural QA/QC and site inspections
o Technical reviews of shop drawings, materials, method statements and mock ups
o Design compliance and workmanship verification
• Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian building codes and local authority processes.
• Experience working alongside PMCs and contractors in a technical supervision / governance role.
• High level of coordination and leadership skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Methodical, detail focused and confident in reporting technical issues and risks.
• Proficiency in Revit Architecture (essential) and AutoCAD; Adobe InDesign and Photoshop desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a client facing environment.
