We are an award-winning global consultancy and have been named Building’s Engineering Consultant of the Year in 2024, 2022 and 2021. We are at the forefront of the industry, priding ourselves on our exemplary track record of designing innovative and sustainable projects.

Sustainability runs through everything we do at Cundall, and our people are empowered to drive change and decarbonise the built environment. By the end of this decade, we have set ourselves an ambitious goal to only work on projects that meet our zero carbon design criteria, a commitment we have called our Zero Carbon Design 2030 goal. We need engineers who share this passion for sustainability and thrive in designing energy efficient buildings and communities.

Our people are considered experts and thought leaders in the industry; collectively we’re driving meaningful change. To help us achieve our ongoing global ambitions, we require an organised, collaborative, and energetic Finance Assistant to join our APAC Finance Team.

The Role

The successful candidate will be highly detail oriented, organised with strong multitasking abilities and collaborative. Across their work they will continually ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all accounting tasks.

This role will be based in our Malaysia, KL office and primarily support our Singapore business.

Key duties will include:

  • Accounts payable, including data entry, preparation of payment runs, supplier queries, collections insurances.
  • Accounts receivable, including draft invoices, data entry and cash receipting.
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Processing Expense claims
  • Cashbook
  • Other adhoc Finance/Accounts related tasks as required

The Skills

Having gained demonstrable knowledge and at least 5-7 years of relevant experience of accounts related duties within a fast-paced, complex environment, you are also familiar with providing a range of administrative support to a high standard, and on a pro-active basis. You possess intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and are comfortable with the technical understanding and attention to detail it takes to work effectively as part of a Finance Team.

You are highly organised, take a proactive approach to your work and can work to tight deadlines – making use of your initiative, self-motivation and effective communication skills.
