Our people are considered experts and thought leaders in the industry; collectively we’re driving meaningful change. To help us achieve our ongoing global ambitions, we require an organised, collaborative, and energetic Assistant Accountant to join our growing APAC Finance Team.

The Role

Working as part of the Regional Finance Team and reporting to the APAC Head of Finance , this role will be based in either our Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane office to support finance related activities, primarily within regional locations including end of month reporting, general ledger maintenance, payroll and accounts receivable.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Preparation of end of month financial reporting pack.
  • End of month journals and reconciliations.
  • Responsible for general ledger maintenance.
  • Accounts receivable including preparation of client progress claims.
  • Monthly payroll processing and reconciliation.
  • Assistance with end of year financial audits.

 

The Skills

Holding an Accounting certification or degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role preparing end of month financials.

Possess good knowledge of IFRS, GST and ERP system.

You will be highly numerate, have proven time management skills, and excellent customer service standards, dealing professionally, confidently and effectively with internal staff and external contacts and advisers across international borders.
