The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior/Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join our Bengaluru office and take a key role in shaping our growing Civil Engineering and Infrastructure capability. You will be part of a team delivering some of the most prestigious and complex projects across Qatar, UAE, KSA, and internationally.

 

Working alongside talented engineers, technicians, and colleagues across multiple disciplines, you will contribute to the delivery of technically excellent, commercially successful projects. Your focus will be on infrastructure within the built environment, spanning a wide range of civil engineering projects.

 

As your career develops with Cundall, you will be given the opportunity to take on greater responsibility and leadership, with full support towards achieving (or furthering) Chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers (CEng or equivalent).

The Skills

Educated to degree level in Civil Engineering (MEng or BEng), and either chartered or working towards chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers (CEng or equivalent), you will have proven experience in civil and infrastructure engineering within a consultancy environment.

 

The key skills for the role will include:

 

  • Grading design of external works for development projects and masterplans
  • Earthworks design of cut and fill and volumetric assessments.
  • Preparation of excavation and earthworks packages.
  • Design of pavement build-ups and external works.
  • Design of stormwater, sewerage and other wet utility systems.
  • Coordination of utility systems.
  • Extensive experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams such as MEP, Structures, Architectural and Landscape.
  • You should be well-versed in infrastructure design software such as Autocad and Civil 3D, the use of hydraulic modelling software such as WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, Info Drainage amongst others would be advantageous:
  • Experience of delivering projects within the UAE, KSA or Qatar is favourable, together with involvement across all stages of development from Concept and Detailed Masterplanning through to Detailed Design and Construction, with a strong understanding of authority approval processes.
  • You will also have experience integrating infrastructure within building and development plot projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and other specialists.

 

The successful candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with proven managerial ability, demonstrating a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

 

You should be capable of managing multiple large-scale projects while guiding and mentoring less experienced engineers to help the team deliver beyond client expectations. Above all, you will share Cundall’s passion for creative, sustainable, and intuitive design.
