Our presence in KSA builds on over 15 years of project experience in the country, underpinned by strong relationships with both public and private sector clients. The Riyadh office plays a pivotal role in Cundall’s EMENA network, working in close collaboration with our teams across the UAE, Qatar, and globally. Together, we deliver high-performance, future-ready designs that align with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s ambitious transformation agenda.

The Role

We are seeking an MEP Discipline Lead for our Riyadh office to head up the department in Riyadh. The discipline leaders will be responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership and management of their respective discipline groups as well as participating in the overall operational management of the KSA business The discipline lead would also act as the key MEP technical lead and point of contact for various projects in the Kingdom. In addition, be a mentor to the wider MEP team, expertise in their field and experience in the fast-paced environment. Leading teams of up to 15 staff they shall report directly to the KSA Country Director and collaborate with the Regional and Global discipline leaders.

 

The role will primarily focus on project delivery, people management and technical excellence, but will also include proactively supporting the General Manager with:

  • Business planning and strategic market assessments
  • Work winning and Client relationship management
  • Commercial and Financial management and control
  • Recruitment and resource management
  • Project management and delivery

The Skills

The candidate shall be highly motivated, entrepreneurial and technically excellent with a track record in management and project delivery. The key criteria shall be as follows:

 

  • Essential
    • Honours or Masters Degree in Engineering (as appropriate - Mechanical or Electrical)
    • Minimum 10 yrs postgrad experience
    • Chartered Engineer and full Member of appropriate industry body (i.e. CIBSE, IMechE, MICE, IET, IStructE)

 

  • Desirable
    • Background & Experience in Sustainable design
    • Experience in digital engineering
    • GCC experience
    • Experience with the Saudi Building Codes and American Codes
