In order to keep up with the demands of business, we are seeking an organised, collaborative, and dedicated Billing Executive to join the Finance team at our Head Office in Newcastle.

The Role

Reporting directly into Cundall’s Financial Controller, you will work as part of Cundall’s centralised billing team, taking responsibility for our offices’ invoicing and raising monthly bills against project schedules, as well as general duties associated with the requirements of the billing team.

You will be required to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of billing and liaison with the accounts receivable staff and wider finance team.

We would be looking for the selected candidate to join us in May 2025 for approximately 18 months.

The Skills

Having gained demonstrable knowledge of dealing with accounting and book keeping, you will have gained practical experience of working with integrated management information systems and possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills. You are comfortable with the technical understanding and attention to detail it takes to work effectively in a billing role within a complex organisation.

You are highly organised, take a proactive approach to your work and can work to tight deadlines – making use of your initiative, self-motivation and effective communication skills.

Possession of an accounting/book keeping qualification such as B/Tec or AAT would be desirable.
