The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Civil Engineer to join our Madrid office to work on the design of some of the most exciting and challenging built environment projects across Europe and the Middle East.

As part of our established team of expert engineers and technicians, and collaborating closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will prepare detailed engineering calculations, and assist with specifications, scheme designs and project reports. You will work across a variety of sectors including infrastructure, master planning and data centres and will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop.

This wide-ranging role will see you carrying out drainage and highways design including flood risk assessments, hydrological assessments, below ground drainage design, external services work design, road horizontal and vertical alignment and earthworks analysis.

The role will require you to use your knowledge and expertise to define and translate clients’ needs into designs for buildings, infrastructure, facilities and services with sustainability at the forefront of the design.

The Skills

Educated to degree level in Civil Engineering (Ingeneria Civil o Ingeneria de Caminos, Canales y Puertos). An understanding of civil design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Infodrainage, QGIS and HEC-RAS is desirable.

You have a passion for creative and intuitive engineering and a demonstrable experience of design engineering for the built environment, including below ground drainage design and external hard-standing design.

You possess a desire for personal and professional development and have proven your ability to work effectively as part of a team.
