Cundall’s reputation in the Data Centre sector has been underpinned by almost 20 years’ of design experience delivering some of the most technically demanding and pioneering mission-critical projects for our global DC customers.
Established in 2006, our critical systems team has been at the forefront of data centre design and exceptional in-house engineering services. Collaborating with clients worldwide, we have delivered over 1,000MW of data centre capacity.
Cundall established our Frankfurt office in 2024 to manage secured hyperscale projects in Germany. In 2025, we plan to recruit a Director to help grow and lead this consulting engineering practice.
About Cundall
Cundall is a global, independent, multi-disciplinary consultancy delivering sustainable engineering and design solutions across the built environment. We operate across 28 locations with over 1,200 engineers and designers who are empowered to act with flexibility and agility in response to the local market conditions and practices. We are 100% owned by Partners working in the practice.
We know that to be the best at what we do we need a diverse workforce underpinned by an inclusive culture. Creating environments where everyone can find joy doing their best work is also great for everyone. That’s why we positively welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and identities, and encourage, support and celebrate the diverse voices of our people.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, client-focused electrical or mechanical building services leader to establish our critical systems team in Frankfurt. You’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our data centre-focused engineering business in Germany.
The Director will be responsible for the German office’s day-to-day operational leadership and management. Initially, the focus will be developing a mechanical and electrical data centre team, eventually evolving into a fully multi-disciplinary consulting team. The Director will receive support from our critical systems team across Europe and operate as an integrated leader within our data centre focused sector group.
You will nurture our existing strong client relationships to deliver our secured workload in Germany. Drawing on your extensive expertise and determination, you will establish, grow, manage, motivate, and lead our team in Frankfurt.
Whilst DC experience is welcomed, candidates with the drive, enthusiasm, commitment and experience for success should also apply. Our European Critical Systems team will provide the necessary technical support and skills to achieve our project’s needs.
