This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Civil Engineer to join our Warsaw office in Poland to work on the design of some of the most exciting and challenging built environment projects in Poland and globally.

As part of our established team of expert engineers and technicians, and working closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will prepare detailed engineering calculations, and assist with specifications, scheme designs and project reports. You will work across a variety of sectors including industry, aviation, data centres  and will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop.

This wide-ranging role will see you carrying out drainage and highways design including flood risk assessments, hydrological assessments, below ground drainage design, external services works design, road horizontal and vertical alignment and earthworks analysis.

The role will require you to use your knowledge and expertise to define and translate clients’ needs into designs for buildings, infrastructure, facilities and services with sustainability at the forefront of the design. 

Educated to degree level in Civil Engineering (MEng or equivalent) or Environmental Engineering (MEng or equivalent) working towards Chartership status, you have gained 3 years of experience in a Civil Engineering role within a design consultancy environment and are already well-versed in relevant civil design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk Revit. You have a passion for creative and intuitive engineering and a demonstrable experience of design engineering for the built environment, including below ground drainage design and external hard-standing design. You possess a desire for personal and professional development and have proven your ability to work effectively as part of a team.

You will need to be able to communicate in both Polish and English.

You have an organised and methodical approach to managing tasks and priorities to meet deadlines and have a close appreciation of the commercial factors which affect design solutions.

Given the collaborative and client focused nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
