This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and talented ESD Consultant to join our team at our office in Melbourne, to work on the design of some of the most exciting projects in Australia.
As part of our established multi-disciplinary team, and working closely with colleagues across multiple offices, you will analyse, report, model and document ESD projects and liaise with clients with the aim of expanding the ESD project portfolio.
You will work on and manage projects of all sizes, including day-to-day delivery, client relationships, technical excellence, QA and work with, and support, a diversity of other team members. With support from the management team, you will positively contribute to developing our capabilities, our people and our business, and develop our own career goals.
You will advise on sustainable design features such as energy and carbon performance, water conservation, material selection, transport, indoor environmental quality, HVAC, rating tools and performance modelling.
Your work will span all sectors and offer a high degree of autonomy, based on the level of experience already gained in the industry.
Educated to degree level or above in Engineering, the Built Environment, Sustainability, or a related area, you will have gained significant and broad-ranging experience in an ESD Consulting role within a sustainable design consultancy. You will have practical experience in the application of rating tools such as NABERS and Green Star and WELL.
You will possess excellent project management skills and have a demonstrable track record of innovative project delivery and client relationship management. You will be innovative, passionate, responsible, and committed.
Experience with building physics simulations, parametric modelling and/or First Rate 5 is desirable.
Given the collaborative and client focussed nature of this role, excellent interpersonal skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
