This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join the team in Madrid to work on the design of some of the most exciting construction design projects in Europe and worldwide. Working closely with colleagues across our multi-disciplinary practice, you will provide specialist consultancy input on projects across a wide range of sectors including Workplace, Residential, Education, Healthcare, Critical Systems and Retail.
Under the guidance of our team of expert engineers this wide ranging role will require you to carry out detailed electrical building services engineering design and analysis, defining and translating clients’ needs into designs for buildings, facilities and services (electrical distribution and power generation, security and access control) all with sustainability at the forefront of the design.
You will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop and be supported through relevant accredited professional development programmes.
Educated to degree level in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (MEng or BEng or equivalent), and having gained relevant experience within a consultancy environment (design and coordination of electrical distribution and power generation, lighting, security systems etc), you are already well versed in the use of relevant design software including Amtech and ideally, Dialux.
You have proven ability in producing low energy design solutions, carrying out site inspections and surveys, detail design development, and crucially – you have a passion for creative and intuitive design.
Given the collaborative and client focused nature of this role, excellent communication skills both in Spanish and English and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
