In order to keep up with the demands of our growing organisation, we are looking for an organised and collaborative Senior Applications Analyst / SQL Developer to assist a team of multi-disciplined engineers in our Newcastle office.
In line with the continuing growth of our business in the UK and internationally, we are pleased to offer the opportunity for a Senior Applications Analyst / SQL Developer to join the team in our Newcastle office.
The Senior Applications Analyst / SQL Developer will work as part of the Systems and Operations Team and will offer support and guidance to existing business-critical ERP (Deltek) systems in a 3rd line capacity, developing analytical and integration solutions, and carrying out application upgrade/maintenance. There will also be opportunities to shape and grow this role to toward the development of further applications.
As an integral part of the IT team, you will provide knowledge and expertise in support the development of wider team members, and education of end users.
With a proven ‘hands-on’ experience of T-SQL development within a professional services environment, you are comfortable with supporting, administering, and troubleshooting when it comes to ERP systems, B.I. reports, SQL Server, and technical documentation. You are also familiar with developing analytics solutions, including B.I. reports, dashboards, and data warehousing.
You are well organised and take a systematic and diligent approach to problem solving. You also enjoy working collaboratively and respectfully with a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds and locations.
MCSA SQL qualification/s (or equivalent experience), and experience of proactively supporting the development of less experienced colleagues is essential.
