This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join the team in Shanghai to work on the design of some of the most exciting construction design projects in the China and worldwide.
Working closely with colleagues across our multi-disciplinary practice, you will provide specialist consultancy input on projects across a wide range of sectors including Education, Critical Systems and Retail.
You will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop, and supported through relevant accredited professional development programmes.
Accredited with a MEng degree level (or equivalent) in Electrical or Building Services Engineering, you have a real interest in sustainable Building Services design and analysis for the built environment, and crucially - have a passion for creative and intuitive design as well as a thirst for personal development and career progression.
You have a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, are able to manage your own time to meet deadlines and you have an appreciation of the commercial factors which affect design solutions.
Given the collaborative and client focused nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
The successful candidate will need to be proficient in reading, typing, and conversing in Mandarin Chinese and English and be comfortable working with clients in Chinese proficiently.
