This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client focused MEP Building Services expert to join our team at our office in Hong Kong. In addition to playing a leading role in managing and delivering innovative mechanical and electrical design solutions for some of the most exciting building projects in Hong Kong and internationally, you will be a key member of the office leadership team, working closely with our office Directors to run and develop a profitable business in Asia.
Your responsibilities will include the development of new business (working closely with your colleagues in other disciplines), the financial and commercial management of projects, oversight and reporting on metrics for the office as a whole, and managing, motivating and inspiring more junior staff.
You will be a Chartered Engineer, educated to degree level in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (MEng or BEng), and with a demonstrable understanding of the financial and commercial issues that make projects and the wider business work. In addition, you will have proven experience of running a team of engineers to deliver work, whilst simultaneously supporting their continuous professional development.
Fluency in English is essential. Chinese language skills (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) are highly desirable. You will be a team player, able to engage, motivate and inspire colleagues within and outside your own discipline. Experience of multi-disciplinary projects, which includes workplace, mission critical and building performance systems is also desirable.
