Our specialist Acoustics Team works on projects throughout Dubai, Qatar and internationally, from their bases in Dubai, Australia and the UK. The team provide consultancy services to clients both independently and as part of a co-ordinated multi-disciplinary offering on larger projects.
They work on projects large and small, across a variety of sectors. Established in 2010, the team has gone from strength to strength, and is now represented regularly at industry events, providing thought leadership within the industry.
Further to continuing success and growth, the team is now ready to add an Acoustic Engineer who can bring specialist knowledge and experience to our acoustics team.
The Acoustics Engineer will be responsible for providing acoustic input into a wide range of built environment engineering projects, and act as a source of expertise, attendance and input at design meetings. They will provide clear advice to clients, architects and engineers (internal and external) on design issues relating to acoustics, noise and vibration.
The technical duties will include preparing fee proposals for acoustics, noise and vibration assessments, sound management programmes and design specifications. This means liaising closely with clients, collating acoustics data, performing noise and vibration monitoring and calculations, interpreting data, and producing reports, drawings, figures and tables.
Having been educated to degree level in Acoustic Engineering or another relevant discipline, your career to date has seen you develop your skills within a building/construction environment where you have gained an in depth understanding of environmental and building acoustic work stream.
You have proven experience of providing your expertise to internal team members and third parties, including clients, contractors and architects.
Overall, this role requires solid understanding of acoustic engineering for the built environment, consummate communication skills, and a passion for excellence in acoustic engineering.
Due to the need to travel regularly to site and client meetings, candidates must have the ability to travel independently at short notice.
