This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Fire Engineer to join the specialist Fire group to work on the design of some of the most exciting construction design projects in the UK and worldwide.
Working closely with colleagues across our multi-disciplinary practice, you will provide specialist consultancy input on projects across a wide range of sectors including Education, Healthcare, Critical Systems and Retail.
In this wide ranging role you will carry out detailed fire engineering design and analysis, fire hazard identification and fire risk assessment, smoke control design and smoke plume modelling and develop computer simulations of fire dynamics and fire spread.
You will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop, and will be supported towards Chartership.
Accredited with a MEng degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline, You have a real interest in Fire Engineering design and analysis for the built environment, and crucially - have a passion for creative and intuitive design as well as a thirst for personal development and career progression.
You have a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, are able to manage your own time to meet deadlines and you have an appreciation of the commercial factors which affect design solutions.
Given the collaborative and client focussed nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
