    Cundall’s Acoustic Engineering team prides itself on its exemplary track record of providing innovative design and implementation services across all Industry sectors. 

     

    Working on projects throughout the UK and internationally, from their bases in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Sydney and Melbourne, the team provide consultancy services to clients both independently and as part of a co-ordinated multi-disciplinary offering on larger projects. 

     

    Established in 2010, the team has gone from strength to strength, and is now represented regularly at industry events, and is at the forefront of thought leadership within Acoustic engineering.

    The Role

    This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join the specialist Acoustic Engineering team in Manchester to work on the design of some of the most exciting construction design projects in the UK and worldwide.

     

    Under the guidance of our team of expert engineers this wide ranging role will offer you the opportunity to develop your expertise in the completion of noise and vibration assessments, computer modelling and design specifications. As your understanding and technical skills develop you will liaise directly with clients to acquire, collate and analyse relevant data and produce high quality reports.

     

    You will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop, and with accredited professional development programmes from the Institute of Acoustics you will be supported towards Chartership.

    The Skills

    Accredited with a BEng degree level (or equivalent) in Acoustic Engineering or another relevant discipline, you have a keen interest in developing expertise and a rewarding career in this discipline, and crucially - have a passion for excellence in acoustic design in the built environment.  

     

    You have a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, are able to manage your own time to meet deadlines, and possess a strong appreciation of the commercial factors which affect design solutions.

     

    Given the collaborative and client focussed nature of this role, excellent communication skills and a strong desire to use your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
