In order to keep up with the demands of the business, we are seeking an organised, collaborative, and dedicated Accounts Assistant to join the team at our Melbourne office.
In line with the continued growth of our business in the UK and internationally, we are looking to appoint an Accounts Assistant to handle all accounts related activities for our Australia offices.
You will work as part of Cundall’s office support team, taking responsibility for payables, receivables, reconciliations, expense management functions, and general accounting and administrative duties. You will raise & issue client invoices, undertake debt collection activities, perform daily banking and coordinate petty cash and staff expenses. You will handle payment of all creditor invoices, be responsible for handling month-end reconciliation, whilst also acting as the first point of contact for supplier queries.
Having gained demonstrable knowledge and experience of accounts related duties within a fast-paced, complex environment, you are also familiar with providing a range of administrative support to a high standard, and on a pro-active basis. You possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills and are comfortable with the technical understanding and attention to detail it takes to work effectively in an accounts assistant role.
You are highly organised, take a proactive approach to your work and can work to tight deadlines – making use of your initiative, self-motivation and effective communication skills.
A formal accounting qualification and significant experience of payable/ receivables are desirable.
