This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Civil Engineer to join our Manchester office where they will work on the design of some of the most exciting civil infrastructure projects in the UK and worldwide.
As part of our established team of expert engineers and technicians, and working closely with colleagues of various engineering disciplines, you will prepare detailed engineering calculations, and assist with specifications, feasibility studies, scheme designs and project reports.
You will work across a variety of sectors such as Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail and Residential, and will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop, and as you are supported towards Chartership.
Educated to degree level in in a related subject, and having gained demonstrable experience in a Civil Engineering role within a consultancy environment, you are already well versed in relevant civil design software such as AutoCAD, WinDes and Civil CAD3D.
You should have relevant experience in civil engineering design relating to the built environment, including hydraulics and geotechnics, and crucially - have a passion for creative and intuitive design.
Given the collaborative and client focussed nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
