Cundall’s building services team’s mission is to play a key role in making buildings more energy efficient, sustainable and cost effective to operate – and we pride ourselves on our exemplary track record of designing innovative and practical mechanical and electrical solutions. With offices in Australia, the UK, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East we offer a pro-active and collaborative approach to skill development, professional excellence and knowledge sharing.
As a medium-sized, but truly international consultancy, we are big enough to be able to provide a wide range of challenging projects for our staff, but still at a size where our students can be treated as individuals, and given real responsibility at an early stage.
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented entry level MEP Revit Designer to join the team to work on the design of some of the most exciting construction design projects in Australia and worldwide. Working closely with colleagues across our multi-disciplinary practice, you will provide specialist consultancy input on projects across a wide range of sectors including education, healthcare, critical systems and retail.
Under the guidance of our team of expert engineers, you will learn how to produce detailed 3D design or hydraulics and fire services, and how to develop design coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit into our current design practices. You will ultimately be responsible for producing BIM Models & CAD drawings for all stages of design.
Having already achieved a degree (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or a relevant building services engineering subject, you will have a keen interest in pursuing a career within the construction industry and will have gained some working experience within a consultancy environment.
You have the motivation and aptitude to develop as a skilled user of drawing software such as Revit MEP and AutoCAD, and the ambition to work towards becoming an expert Technician over time. You also possess the personal qualities and organisation skills to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, and crucially – share Cundall’s passion for creative, sustainable and intuitive design.
Please note that TAFE Certification is also highly regarded.
