Our specialist Acoustics Team works on projects across the globe from their bases in the UK, Australia - and soon Ireland. The team provide consultancy services to clients both independently and as part of a co-ordinated multi-disciplinary offering.
They work on projects of all sizes, across a variety of sectors. Established in 2010, the team has gone from strength to strength, and is now represented regularly at industry events, providing thought leadership within the industry.
Further to continuing success and growth, the team is now ready to expand operations in Ireland with the addition of an Acoustics Associate who can bring a wealth of experience, drive and strategic leadership to develop this specialist discipline in the region. This person will play a leading role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative and pragmatic acoustic design solutions on some of the most prestigious and technically challenging built environment design projects.
Working across a variety of sectors, in time you will recruit and lead a team of expert acoustic engineers, and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to oversee the delivery of technically-excellent, profitable projects.
You will develop new and nurture existing outstanding client relationships that maximise satisfaction and ensure repeat business, and will use your wealth of expertise and determination to manage, motivate and inspire less experienced engineers. You will join a tightly-knit team who efficiently share work and resources across the globe.
Having been educated to degree level in acoustic engineering or another relevant discipline, your career to date has seen you develop your expertise within a consultancy environment where you have gained an in-depth understanding of environmental and building acoustics work streams.
In your most recent position you will have established your excellent reputation as a commercially aware leader in acoustic design, and have consistently demonstrated your ability to manage multiple complex projects and teams to deliver to, and exceed client expectations. You have proven experience of providing your expertise to internal team members and third parties, including clients, contractors and architects, and have proven yourself as a highly effective manager and motivator of staff.
Overall, this role requires a high level of relevant expertise, consummate communication skills, and a passion for excellence in acoustic engineering.
