This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced site supervisor to represent Cundall on numerous sites.
You will carry out electrical inspections and monitor, record defects and attend site meetings. You will also prepare and maintain detailed site records and provide regular reports on progress and quality control to office based engineers.
The role is focused on quality control on site as the review of technical design submittals and all design work will be carried out by other engineers within the building services team.
You will need significant experience of both contractor and consultancy liaison, will possess a solid working knowledge of electrical installations in order to successfully undertake surveys, make detailed site records and produce reports on site progress. You will have gained on-site experience in inspecting electrical installations against the specifications/drawings that have previously been produced by the design team. Ideally you will have previously worked as an electrician and have an in-depth knowledge of electrical installations.
You will possess excellent time management skills and be able to demonstrate your ability to meet project deadlines.
Given the collaborative and client focussed nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential. You will be fully supported by design engineers whereby you will significantly contribute to assisting them in snagging, de-snagging & generally monitoring the quality of installation undertaken by the contractor.
